Golf

Through the years of training for the triathlons, I was aware of how I had been utilizing Self-Help Jin Shin Jyutsu during my runs. I knew from my own experience that in harmony I was more aware of my body/mind/spirit and consequently able to perform to my potential. I was curious if this concept would help other athletes. So I contacted a friend, Denise St.Pierre, who happens to be the Coach of the Penn State Women's Golf Team and proposed my idea of working with the student athlete. My idea is that by teaching the athletes self-help Jin Shin Jyutsu, they will gain a greater sense of understanding and awareness of themselves, and through the practice will BE present and focused more of the time, allowing them to perform to their potential in a harmonious state. Fortunately the Coach was looking for something just like this for the team. In January 2012 I began working with the team, quite organically over the years the work is a Blending of meditation, self-help Jin Shin Jyutsu, life coaching, and a unique perspective of energy and mind, body, spirit connection.

The meditations are some of the recordings from the first semester of working with the team. After recording the meditation with the team, I would add music to the background and then make these recordings digitally accessible for the players.
